One person was killed, and another suffered major injuries in a two-vehicle collision in the Davis area in Yolo County on Wednesday night, October 7, 2026.
According to officials, the crash occurred at around 8 p.m. near County Road 97D and Russell Boulevard, just west of the city.
The California Highway Patrol’s Woodland office said it was not immediately known whether alcohol or drugs played a role. Investigators are still working to determine the events leading up to the collision.
The investigation remains ongoing.
