[10-06-2026] Riverside County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 in Lake Elsinore

Five to six vehicles were involved in a collision on Interstate 15 in Lake Elsinore, Riverside County, on Tuesday evening, October 6, 2026.

According to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported shortly before 6:30 p.m. on southbound I-15 at Railroad Canyon Road.

Preliminary reports indicated that a driver lost control and struck multiple vehicles. Authorities had not confirmed additional details about the circumstances leading to the collision.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene. Information regarding possible injuries was not immediately available.
