[09-14-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash Near Luther Dr. and Florin Rd.

A man riding a bicycle died after a hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle in Sacramento early Monday morning, September 14, 2026.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded shortly after 3:00 a.m. to the area near Luther Drive and Florin Road.

Police said the vehicle involved in the collision left the scene before officers arrived. No additional details about the vehicle or the circumstances leading to the crash were immediately available.

The bicyclist died following the collision. Authorities are withholding his identity pending notification of next of kin.
