[09-11-2026] Sacramento County, CA – 15-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle on Bruceville and Calvine Rd.

A 15-year-old girl died after being struck by a vehicle in Sacramento on Friday evening, September 11, 2026.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded to the incident shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Bruceville and Calvine roads.

Officers found the girl down in the roadway. She was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Police said the department learned on Sunday that the girl had died from her injuries. Authorities have not yet released her identity.

The driver remained at the scene following the incident. Police said DUI did not appear to be a factor.

The investigation is ongoing.
