[09-12-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Man in His 70s Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Winnetka

A man in his 70s died after being struck by a vehicle while walking in an unmarked crosswalk in Winnetka, Los Angeles County, on Saturday night, September 12, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at around 8:10 p.m. in the 20000 block of Roscoe Boulevard, just east of Winnetka Avenue.

Police said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Roscoe Boulevard.

Paramedics transported the man to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officers.

The investigation is ongoing.
