[09-07-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – One Critically Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway in Ontario

One person was critically injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway in Ontario early Monday morning, September 7, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly before 2:00 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway near Etiwanda Avenue.

CHP reported that as many as six vehicles were involved. The crash reportedly began with a collision between a van and a car, which then triggered a chain reaction. A pickup truck overturned during the incident.

First responders used rescue equipment to extricate at least one person from a vehicle. One person was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation.
