[09-07-2026] Riverside County, CA – One Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 111 in Palm Springs

One person suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 111 in Palm Springs on Monday morning, September 7, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 8:41 a.m. on northbound Highway 111.

CHP said that three vehicles were involved, including a Ford Explorer and a white Mitsubishi SUV. The make and model of the third vehicle were not immediately available.

Debris from the collision and gasoline spilled from a plastic container blocked the far-left northbound lane. CAL FIRE was notified, and two tow trucks were requested to help clear the scene.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
