Two pedestrians sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, September 1, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Sunset Boulevard east of Bronson Avenue.
Police said a white vehicle, possibly a 2025 Kia K4, was traveling eastbound on Sunset Boulevard when it struck two pedestrians who were crossing the street. The driver continued eastbound before turning southbound on Van Ness Avenue and fleeing the scene.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and treated both pedestrians for visible injuries. Additional information about the extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
Police are searching for the driver and vehicle involved in the collision.
The investigation remains ongoing.
