[08-13-2026] Glenn County, CA – Minor Injuries Reported in Rear-End Crash on Highway 99W in Willows

Occupants of a Ford Fusion suffered minor injuries after a rear-end collision on Highway 99W near Willows in Glenn County on Thursday morning, August 13, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the Ford Fusion was traveling southbound on Highway 99W and stopped while waiting for northbound traffic to clear before turning onto Wyo Road.

CHP said a Ford F-150 traveling behind the Fusion did not realize the Fusion had stopped until it was too late, and the F-150 struck the rear of the car.

The occupants of the Ford Fusion sustained minor injuries. The driver and passengers of the Ford F-150 were reported to be uninjured.

The investigation remains ongoing.
