[08-10-2026] Kern County, CA – Head-On Crash on Bowman Rd. in Ridgecrest

Two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision on Bowman Road in Ridgecrest, Kern County, on Monday morning, August 10, 2026.

The crash was reported around 11:03 a.m. on Bowman Road in front of the entrance to the Ridgecrest Landfill. The collision involved a Honda CR-V and a Toyota RAV4.

The Honda CR-V left the roadway and came to rest on the dirt, but was able to move under its own power. Both vehicles sustained minimal damage, with the Toyota RAV4 reportedly sustaining less damage.
