[07-31-2026] Madera County, CA – One Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Ave. 14 and Rd. 16

A man suffered major injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Madera County on Friday morning, July 31, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue 14 and Road 16.

Authorities said a white vehicle was traveling southbound while a black SUV was traveling westbound when the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the white vehicle sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the black SUV was not injured.

The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
