[07-31-2026] Riverside County, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle in San Jacinto

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in San Jacinto early Friday morning, July 31, 2026.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident was reported at around 2:04 a.m. at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Lake Park Drive. 

Deputies and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The motorist involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities said alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been factors in the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
