[07-27-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Hesperia

A 39-year-old pedestrian, identified as Reginald M., was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Hesperia early Monday morning, July 27, 2026.

According to the Hesperia Police Department, deputies and emergency personnel responded to the incident at around 1:28 a.m. in the area near Arroyo Avenue and Sequoia Street.

Investigators said the victim was walking westbound near the north edge of Sequoia Street when he was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling westbound. He was found lying in the westbound lane and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police reported that the driver fled immediately after the collision without stopping. The make and model of the vehicle involved have not been identified, and authorities have not determined whether drugs or alcohol were factors.

The authorities are investigating the fatal hit-and-run collision.
