[07-26-2026] Riverside County, CA – One Killed in Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash in Jurupa Valley

A person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Jurupa Valley on Sunday morning, July 26, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:10 a.m., just east of Pedley Road. The crash involved a blue Chevrolet Malibu and a white Nissan, which caught fire.

Authorities reported that a dog was inside the Nissan, though its condition was not immediately known. A representative from the coroner’s office was called to the scene at 5:51 a.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no further details were immediately available.
