[07-24-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pickup Truck Driver Killed in Collision With Big Rig on 605 Freeway in Pico Rivera

A Chevrolet pickup truck driver was killed after a collision with a big rig on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Pico Rivera early Friday morning, July 24, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:20 a.m. on the northbound 605 Freeway near Beverly Boulevard.

Authorities said the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Video from the crash site showed a stopped big rig and a Chevrolet pickup truck that sustained major damage and came to rest on its side.

The CHP continues to investigate the crash.
