[07-17-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Hospitalized After Rollover Crash Beneath Apartment Building in Arlington Heights

One person was hospitalized following a rollover crash beneath an apartment building in Los Angeles’ Arlington Heights neighborhood on Friday morning, July 17, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the two-vehicle collision was reported at around 6:45 a.m. in a covered parking area at the 1140 block of South Norton Avenue. 

One automobile rolled over, requiring firefighters to extricate the patient, who was transported to a local hospital. The identity and condition of the individual have not been released.

Urban Search and Rescue and Heavy Rescue specialists were deployed to safely remove the overturned vehicle. The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety was called to conduct a structural assessment of the apartment building.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
