[07-15-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Three Critically Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer in Victorville

Three people sustained major injuries following a two-vehicle crash involving a Ford Mustang and a tractor-trailer in Victorville on Wednesday morning, July 15, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the collision was reported at around 3:54 a.m. on Bear Valley Road, east of Balsam Avenue, in the No. 1 westbound lane.

The Mustang, traveling eastbound, collided with a red tractor-trailer carrying multiple forklifts. The Mustang sustained catastrophic damage, including a destroyed front end, a sheared roof, and a heavily damaged passenger compartment.

The Mustang driver, an adult male from Phelan, and a front-seat passenger, an adult male from Apple Valley, were both airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center after initial transport to local hospitals. A rear-seat passenger, an adult female from Pinon Hills, was taken to Providence Saint Mary Medical Center.

The tractor-trailer driver, a Hesperia man, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. One forklift partially slid off the trailer and was secured with a crane before the semi could be removed.

Authorities have not released details on what caused the crash or whether drugs or alcohol were involved. The investigation is ongoing.
