[07-01-2026] Riverside County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Beaumont

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Beaumont early Wednesday morning, July 1, 2026.

According to the Beaumont Police Department, officers responded to the incident on East 1st Street, west of Pennsylvania Avenue. 

Responding emergency personnel found a man suffering major injuries after being struck by the vehicle.

Despite life-saving efforts, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that no immediate indications suggest alcohol or drugs were involved in the collision.

The Beaumont Police Department’s Traffic Division is continuing to investigate the cause of the incident.
