[06-21-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Five Injured, Including Toddler, in Crash in Lakewood

Five people were hospitalized after a car collided with a light pole on Del Amo Boulevard in Lakewood on Sunday afternoon, June 21, 2026.

According to authorities, the crash occurred shortly before 3:30 p.m. just east of Knoxville Avenue. 

A white Toyota sedan struck a pole on a sidewalk near Mae Boyar Park, causing significant front-end damage.

Among the injured was a 2-year-old child who was reported in critical but stable condition. The other four occupants were also transported to hospitals.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
