[06-19-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – 77-Year-Old Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Griffith Park

A 77-year-old man, identified as Hossein S., died in a multi-vehicle crash on the Golden State (5) Freeway near Griffith Park in Los Angeles County on Friday morning, June 19, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 2:56 a.m. on the southbound Golden State Freeway south of Glendale Boulevard.

Authorities stated that another person was transported to a hospital by paramedics. The total number of vehicles involved was not immediately confirmed.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
