[06-19-2026] Butte County, CA – Seven Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Highway 162 and Aguas Frias Rd.

Seven people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Butte County on Friday, June 19, 2026.

According to authorities, the collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 162 and Aguas Frias Road. One of the vehicles ended up in a canal, prompting a water rescue response that was later canceled.

Officials reported that four of the injured individuals were transported to hospitals, including two who were airlifted to Enloe Medical Center and two who were taken by ground ambulance. The remaining injured patients were treated at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
