[06-05-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Victorville

A 67-year-old man, identified as Richard V., was killed following a two-vehicle crash in Victorville on Friday evening, June 5, 2026.

According to the Victorville Police Department, the collision occurred around 5:08 p.m. at the four-way stop-controlled intersection of Northstar Avenue and Amethyst Road.

Investigators stated that the Chevrolet S-10 was traveling northbound on Amethyst Road, ran the stop sign, and crossed into the opposing lanes, colliding with the Infiniti Q50, which was stopped at the intersection.

Officials said a white Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck and a white Infiniti sedan were involved. The pickup truck overturned and came to rest on its roof along the westbound side of Amethyst Road.

A CPR was performed on the pickup truck driver before he was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The driver of the Infiniti remained at the scene and was later transported to Desert Valley Hospital for minor injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
