[06-07-2026] Riverside County, CA – At Least One Killed in Crash in Romoland

At least one person was killed following a crash in the Romoland community northeast of Menifee on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 7:08 p.m. at the intersection of Gunther and Briggs roads.

Authorities stated that a witness reported an unconscious child at the scene, though it was unclear if the child was the one who died. CHP did not immediately release the number of vehicles involved.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
