One person was killed, and another was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash in Pomona on Sunday evening, June 7, 2026.

According to Pomona Police, the crash occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Clara Drive and Trabuco Place, near Ranch Hills Elementary School.

Authorities stated that a dark sedan crashed into a tree. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver was transported by ambulance to a hospital. The driver’s condition has not been released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
