A four-vehicle crash temporarily shut down Highway 371 in Aguanga, Riverside County, on Wednesday evening, May 13, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 5:08 p.m. at the intersection of Route 371 and Jojoba Road near the San Bernardino National Forest.
Authorities reported that a Hyundai compact SUV, a Toyota Camry, and two additional sedans were involved in the collision.
Emergency crews from the Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene and evaluated the motorists involved. Officials initially reported possible injuries, but paramedics later determined that no one required medical treatment.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 371 were temporarily closed while officers investigated the crash and cleared the roadway. The vehicles were moved to the shoulder by approximately 5:35 p.m., allowing traffic to resume.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
