[05-07-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle Near Judette Ave. and Power Inn Rd.

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in South Sacramento on Thursday night, May 7, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported around 10:07 p.m. near Judette Avenue and Power Inn Road.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have not yet released the identity, age, or sex of the victim.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities stated that it is not yet known whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
