[05-05-2026] Orange County, CA – Three Injured After Big Rig Overturns on 91 Freeway in Anaheim

Three people were injured following a crash involving a big rig on the 91 Freeway in Anaheim on Tuesday evening, May 5, 2026.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at Brookhurst Street.

Authorities stated that a big rig overturned on the freeway, causing the container it was hauling to land on top of a sedan. Emergency responders reported that the rear portion of the container rested on a concrete barrier, preventing the vehicle from being fully crushed.

The two occupants in the sedan were able to exit through the passenger side. Both individuals, along with the driver of the big rig, were transported to a hospital with injuries that were not immediately disclosed.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
