[05-06-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in North Hollywood

A man was killed following a hit-and-run collision in North Hollywood early Wednesday morning, May 6, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded around 1:53 a.m. to the intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and the Hollywood (170) Freeway near North Hollywood Recreation Center Park.

Authorities reported that a vehicle traveling westbound on Magnolia Boulevard struck the pedestrian as he was walking toward a vehicle.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced the man dead.

Police stated that the driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid and remains outstanding.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
