[04-18-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in South LA

A 34-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles late Saturday night, April 18, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. near Manchester Avenue and Budlong Avenue.

Authorities said the woman was walking northbound across Manchester in a marked crosswalk when a black sedan struck her and fled the scene.

The victim was later identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Aaron M. She was pronounced dead following the incident.
