[04-17-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in San Jose

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in San Jose on Friday, April 17, 2026.

The crash was reported shortly before noon in the area of Story Road and Lucretia Avenue.

An occupant of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. San Jose police have not released details about what led to the crash.

Story Road will be blocked in both directions from McLaughlin to Roberts avenues until later Friday as authorities continue their investigation.
