[04-14-2026] Riverside County, CA – Multiple Fatalities in Wrong-Way Collision on I-10 Near Dillon Rd.

A fatal wrong-way collision claimed multiple lives in Riverside County on Tuesday night, April 14, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 9:58 p.m. on Interstate 10 near Dillon Road.

A Toyota Camry, traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes, struck a Honda Accord head-on. The Honda was traveling in the No. 1 lane at the time of the crash. Emergency responders arrived on scene and pronounced all individuals involved deceased.

The driver of the Toyota Camry was identified as a 71-year-old man from Orange, California. The Honda Accord was driven by a 50-year-old woman from Phoenix, Arizona, with a passenger who was also killed. The passenger’s identity has not yet been confirmed.

CHP officials reported that the Camry driver was missing and have not yet released details on what led to the wrong-way driving.

The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the CHP.
