A man suffered major injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Green Valley Road at Freedom Boulevard in Watsonville, Santa Cruz County, on Wednesday afternoon, April 8, 2026.
According to Watsonville Police, the crash occurred around 2:50 p.m. when a man driving a Honda Accord southbound on Green Valley Road lost control of his vehicle and collided with the front end of a Mazda sedan at the entrance to Taco Bell. The impact pushed the Mazda into a GMC Acadia SUV.
The driver of the Honda suffered major injuries, while the Mazda driver sustained minor injuries, and the GMC driver was unharmed.
The incident remains under investigation.
