[04-02-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Transported To Hospital After DUI Crash on San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Pomona

A woman was trapped inside a white pickup truck after a suspected DUI driver caused a crash on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Pomona on Thursday morning, April 2, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the westbound freeway at Towne Avenue at 2:52 a.m.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel freed the passenger, who was then taken to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in unknown condition.

Video footage from the scene showed a CHP officer administering a field sobriety test to the driver.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to the CHP.
