A pedestrian was struck and killed on the southbound Orange (57) Freeway in Anaheim on Saturday morning, March 28, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. just south of Lincoln Avenue, when a white Nissan Sentra struck the pedestrian.
The Nos. 3, 4, and 5 lanes of the southbound freeway were closed at 5:31 a.m. for investigation and reopened at 8:00 a.m.
A representative from the Orange County coroner’s office was called to the scene at 5:37 a.m.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
