[03-10-2026] San Diego County, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Collision with Vehicle in Pacific Beach

A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in San Diego’s Pacific Beach neighborhood on Tuesday morning, March 10, 2026.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred around 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of Fanuel Street and Grand Avenue. 

The bicyclist reportedly rode into the path of a westbound Hyundai Elantra driven by a 33-year-old man, who ran a red light. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity and age of the victim have not been released, and alcohol was not considered a factor in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
