[02-27-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Four-Vehicle Crash Causes Heavy Traffic on 15 Freeway in Hesperia

A four-vehicle crash caused major traffic delays on the northbound 15 Freeway in Hesperia on Friday afternoon, February 27, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 3:00 p.m. just north of Main Street. 

The crash involved a white GMC pickup truck, a Honda Civic, a gray Jeep Compass SUV, and a tractor-trailer. 

The GMC sustained damage to the driver’s front side, while the Honda Civic sustained front-end damage. The gray Jeep Compass overturned during the incident, though the tractor-trailer appeared undamaged.

CHP officers initially stopped all northbound lanes as firefighter-paramedics from San Bernardino County Fire evaluated the injured. 

Authorities later reopened one lane of traffic with cones, allowing traffic to resume slowly. However, significant delays continued south of Ranchero Road as crews worked to clear the scene.

Motorists faced significant delays during the afternoon commute. The investigation remains ongoing.
