One person was transported after a head-on traffic collision that blocked part of Couser Canyon Road in San Diego County on Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 3:19 p.m. in the 33800 block of Couser Canyon Road.
CHP logs indicate that two vehicles were involved in the collision. Fire personnel reported no fatalities at the scene.
By 3:43 p.m., both vehicles were blocking the roadway, prompting a tow response. Jonathan’s Towing was requested to remove the vehicles.
CHP units arrived shortly after the crash was reported, with one unit on scene and another en route. The roadway remained partially blocked while crews worked to clear the vehicles.
The cause of the collision and additional injury details were not immediately available.
