[01-18-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash Under Investigation on SR-14 at Sand Canyon Rd.

A two-vehicle traffic collision is under investigation following an arrest early Sunday morning on State Route 14 at Sand Canyon Road in Los Angeles County on January 18, 2026.

According to California Highway Patrol Traffic Management, officers received a call around 3:32 a.m. reporting a two-vehicle collision at the location. 

CHP Officer J. Trejos confirmed that an arrest was made, but said limited information was available due to the ongoing investigation. When asked whether driving under the influence was a factor, Trejos stated that it remains under investigation.
