[01-08-2026] Ventura County, CA – Pedestrian Left in Critical Condition After Hit-and-Run on Stearns St. in Simi Valley

A pedestrian was struck and left in critical condition in a hit-and-run crash in Simi Valley early Thursday morning, January 8, 2026.

According to the Simi Valley Police Department, the collision occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Stearns Street near Birchcroft Street.

Investigators are seeking the public’s help, especially from anyone who was in the area at the time or may have seen a vehicle involved in the crash.
