[01-01-2026] Solano County, CA – Crash Closes EB Lanes on I-80 West of Travis Blvd. in Fairfield

Several eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 were closed following a crash west of Travis Boulevard in the Fairfield area on Thursday afternoon, January 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 4:53 p.m. and impacted three eastbound lanes of Interstate 80. CHP said the affected lanes were expected to reopen by approximately 5:30 p.m. The Fairfield Fire Department reported that those involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
