A two-vehicle traffic collision prompted an emergency response in San Diego County on late Wednesday morning, December 31, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 11:30 a.m. on South Mission Road at Peppertree Lane

CHP logs indicated that two vehicles were involved, including a white sedan that sustained major front-end damage. Fire crews were requested to respond as a precaution, and tow trucks were called to remove at least one damaged vehicle from the roadway.
