A 51-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle collided with an SUV in the 2000 block of Pershing Drive near Balboa Park in San Diego early Sunday morning, December 28, 2025.
According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, the crash occurred around 1:40 a.m. Timothy L., 51, of San Diego, sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
Authorities said a passerby called 911 after the motorcycle and SUV collided. Emergency personnel responded and provided aid, but Lowman was pronounced dead at the scene just before 2:00 a.m.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
