A man was killed after being struck twice by vehicles while crossing Shaw Avenue between Valentine and Marks avenues in northwest Fresno early Monday morning, December 29, 2025.
According to the Fresno Police Department, officers were called just before 5:00 a.m. to reports of a pedestrian hit by a car.
When officers arrived, they found a man believed to be between his 30s and 40s who had been struck by two vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said both drivers remained at the location and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities stated that alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash. Westbound Shaw Avenue was blocked for several hours as the investigation continued.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
