A 12-year-old boy was killed after being struck by a vehicle near Winnetka Avenue and Saticoy Street in Winnetka, Los Angeles, early Monday morning, December 22, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 2:50 a.m. as a driver traveling eastbound on Saticoy Avenue struck the boy, who was reportedly walking out of the crosswalk.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver remained at the location following the collision and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
