A customer was injured after a vehicle crashed into a Starbucks on Reynolds Ranch Parkway in Lodi on Wednesday afternoon, December 17, 2025.
According to city officials, emergency crews responded just after 3:00 p.m. to the coffee shop located on Reynolds Ranch Parkway between East Harney and Rocky lanes.
Authorities said a Honda Civic drove into the building, injuring a patron who was at one point trapped underneath the vehicle.
Lodi police reported that a delivery driver had parked in front of the store and was picking up an order when he mistakenly pressed the accelerator, causing the car to jump the curb and crash through the glass storefront.
Officials said people inside the store helped free the injured customer from beneath the vehicle before firefighters arrived. The customer was then transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police also said a teenage girl was struck by furniture during the crash and received treatment at the scene. The storefront sustained significant glass damage, though officials said the building remained structurally intact. The driver was cited for violations related to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
