[12-14-2025] One Killed, Six Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Foothill FreewayOne person was killed, and six others were injured following a multi-vehicle collision on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in the Shadow Hills area of Los Angeles on Sunday evening, December 14, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 7:53 p.m. on the westbound Foothill Freeway just east of the Sunland Boulevard off-ramp. 

Los Angeles Fire Department officials said one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and the victim’s identity was not released. CHP reported that the deceased individual was found outside a vehicle. 

Paramedics transported a 40-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, and a 61-year-old man to hospitals in at least serious condition. Two additional patients were taken to hospitals with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, while one person declined medical transport.

Authorities reported that witnesses saw a black SUV or pickup truck traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving between lanes before the collision. CHP noted that two of the vehicles involved rolled over. 

The investigation is ongoing.
