![[12-11-2025] Woman Suffers Multiple Fractures After Being Hit While Crossing Montezuma Road](https://ak1.to//@S^I.webp)
A 26-year-old woman sustained multiple fractures after being struck by a vehicle on Montezuma Road in the College East neighborhood of San Diego on Thursday evening, December 12, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, officers responded around 5:17 p.m. to the 6500 block of Montezuma Road just north of El Cajon Boulevard. Police said the woman was crossing Montezuma mid-block, from south to north, when a 28-year-old man driving an eastbound Honda Accord in the number one lane collided with her. The victim sustained a fractured hip, pelvic fracture, broken sacrum, femur fracture, and an eight-inch head laceration. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The SDPD Traffic Division is investigating the collision.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
