![[12-03-2025] One Killed After Four-Vehicle Crash on Santa Monica Freeway at South La Brea Avenue](https://ak1.to//jT@zN.webp)
One person was killed in a four-vehicle collision on the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway at the South La Brea Avenue exit in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles early Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded at 1:56 a.m. and found a silver Honda Civic and a dark-colored Infiniti that had collided in the middle lanes of the freeway.
CHP Officer Megan Curtis said two additional vehicles involved in the crash were located on the right side of the roadway. A report from a nearby resident indicated there was an initial collision, followed by another vehicle crashing into one of the previously involved cars.
The deceased victim remained at the scene and has not yet been identified. Details regarding other injuries were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
