A 44-year-old tree trimmer was killed after falling onto an iron fence while working on a palm tree in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, on Monday afternoon, December 1, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident was reported just before 3:20 p.m. in the 7400 block of Canoga Avenue.
Fire officials said the man fell approximately 35 feet onto a 10-foot-high iron fence while trimming the tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An LAFD urban search and rescue team responded to recover the body. Authorities said the cause of the fall was not immediately known, and no further details were released.
