Two people were killed after a rollover crash on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway at the Long Beach (710) Freeway exchange in East Los Angeles on Wednesday evening, November 26, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded around 5:30 p.m. and found that a single vehicle had overturned.
One person had been ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel. CHP reported that a second victim died while being transported to a hospital. The names, genders, and ages of the victims were not released.
CHP issued a SigAlert that closed several westbound lanes for approximately three and a half hours while investigators examined the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
